The hum of the school bus vibrated through Leo’s bones. He stared out the window, watching the rain streak down the glass, blurring the world outside into an indistinct haze. The presentation on Shakespeare had been an utter disaster. He'd been too anxious to speak. His jaw ached from clenching it all morning. He felt profoundly tired. His phone buzzed. “Ms. Jones is now following you on Pinterest.” A flush crept up his neck. His Pinterest board was a chaotic collection of band posters, memes, and… the research for his English class.
